Are the signatures legally binding?

Yes. BuilderFlowPro's e-signatures comply with the U.S. Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN) and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA), which establish that electronic signatures are legally equivalent to handwritten signatures for the vast majority of contract types — including construction estimates, contracts, subcontracts, and change orders. Each signature is accompanied by a full audit trail recording the signer's name, email, IP address, timestamp, and device information.

Who can sign documents? Do they need a BuilderFlowPro account?

Anyone can sign — clients, subcontractors, architects, suppliers, or any other party — regardless of whether they have a BuilderFlowPro account. Signers receive an email with a secure link, review and sign in their browser, and that's it. No account creation, no app download, and no subscription required on the signer's end.

Where are signed documents stored after completion?

Signed documents are automatically saved to the corresponding project in BuilderFlowPro the moment signing is complete. The completed document includes an embedded completion certificate with the full audit trail. Both you and the signer receive an email copy immediately. All executed documents are organized by project and accessible from the project documents tab at any time.

Is there a limit on how many signature requests I can send?

No. BuilderFlowPro does not charge per envelope or per signature and does not enforce a monthly signature limit.
